Subject: what a night!!!

after a marathon show the night before, I didn't know what was in store for night two. A lovely Andromeda started off the day and Playground just kept it going. The places that this song is reaching lately is beyond me, but it's great. Cabulo, SYTBS, Only, SMAG, Two Shores(untitled) make the earlier sets amazing. From Disc 3 on....you must listen to straight through. It's the only way to take in all the bliss that PG gives you.

Subject: Amberland...WOW

This was my first Amberland (certainly not my last!) Deerfields, NC was like being in The Garden of Eden (esp. for me, living in Las Vegas!) I saw butterflies I have not seen since I was a kid in Western Mass. - We all camped and the weather was great (no rain!) PGroove cranked up three blistering sets (Huffer's lights were totally awesome!) The costumes were fabulous and we all had a SMOKIN good time! TEN stars.

Subject: This Much Madness Shouldn't Be Legal...

MAD Freakin' Props go out to Uber-Taper Joel for being THE Man as it relates to all things P-Groove. Insanely quick turnaround in getting the shows posted - do you ever sleep??? LOL!
As for the review -
The performance speaks for itself, what's to review? Just look at that setlist kids...
Sonically the recording is first rate - even to those who may be "spoiled" by Joel's incredible matrix recordings. Yes, it IS solely an audience source for all you purists out there, but don't let that dissuade you from downloading - the AKG's served us all well this evening. This is tough for me to "grade", but I'll go with a Hard Four (if there was a 4.5 choice, it'd get it...). We'll save them 5's for Mr J's matrix recordings! This one is absolutely worth checking out, stop f***cking around & just click the link already!! LOL!!
Enjoy, I know I sure as hell am!
